    Description

    Offered here is a used RPPC depicting an overview of Shelton, Nebraska, a village in Buffalo
    and Hall counties.  Shelton was an early settlement in Nebraska dating to a Mormon's arrival
    in 1858.  Joseph Johnson established a host of enterprises to serve pioneers traveling through
    the area.  The Union Pacific Railroad came to the area in 1866.
    This photo dating to approximately 1908 shows a water tower, a grain elevator, local homes
    and businesses.
