1938 Vintage 25" IDEAL Deanna Durbin Composition Doll - Tagged w Button
Deanna is marked "IDEAL DOLL 25" on her back.  Her button reads, "She's a Doll - Deanna Durbin."  Her dress tag reads, "Genuine Deanna Durbin Doll." (I do not know if she is marked on the back of head because the wig is tightly glued down.)
She wears the classic long floral dress with puffed sleeves.  Previous owner has stuffed her puffed sleeves to keep the puffed.  The dress has a hole at the back waist seam line. She has wears her original lace trimmed slip which is attached in the back with a safety pin.  She has nylon like undies, rayon socks and goldish toned front snaps shoes.  I think the shoes may be replacements (not sure).
She has her red ribbons in her human hair wig. She also has full upper eyelashes and 6 teeth in her smiley friendly face.  Her wig shows what might be some white glue residue in some area around her face... that's my guess.
She can pose and stand without a doll stand.  Her composition has some crazing (see images) and a small place at the top of her neck inside the head cavity where some paint is gone which I forgot to photograph (ask me and I'll send a picture.). Her torso has some type of tape or sticker residue on the front of her chest which I didn't try to rub off.  Please examine the photos carefully and ask if you need to see something better.
It looks like she's had some loving restoration as one leg is a replacement which you can see from the paint color is lighter one one leg and she has nice strong new cording inside.
I have photographed her just as I found her.  Her history of repair or past environments is unknown.
I haven't noticed any offensive odors.
My home is smoke free, but I do not know the doll's previous home environment.  She has been in my home for a brief stay only.
** Item is NOT mint but shows evidence of being loved. I have tried to photograph her from all sides with her wardrobe and without.  I'm only allowed 12 photos on Ebay.

I have mentioned flaws that I have noticed but I'm not an expert so there may be others.  Ask questions about what's important to you that I did not show in photos or mention in the description.  I will answer if I can. I don't guarantee that I will know but I try.

SHIPPING
Doll is packaged very carefully.  She is wrapped in tissue paper before and then bubble wrap.  Bubble wrap will be lightly sealed with scotch tape so that you do NOT have to use scissors to unwrap the doll. I then use packing peanuts around the doll to cushion her within the box.
The buyer's name MUST be the name on the shipping label.  -

"in care of" type of labels using
C/O or CO).  If a name appears on the address different than the name of the buyer, I may cancel the order.
