This block just came out of the estate of a machine shop owner. He had this block in his private stash of "good blocks" for his personal builds. The block in bare metal condition with some factory inspection marks intact as shown. The block is still standard bore and has been cleaned and checked for cracks with none found. The cylinders all look very nice with a light ridge at the top of each cylinder and some vertical wear marks that will bore out. There are no sleeves, gouges, pitting, etc. All threads are in good shape with no helicoils or thread inserts. There is one mounting mount bolt that will need to be extracted. The main caps are original to the block with no spun bearing journals or other damage. This is simply an awesome factory 4 bolt main block that has survived the test of time.
