It is also great for using in barns and stables to absorb odors and moisture. Often, people feed calcium carbonate powder to their chickens to strengthen eggshells and to cows to replace calcium lost during the milking process.  This all-natural product will not harm you, your plants, or animals and is listed with OMRI.
Limestone Application Guidelines
Soil Application
: Till in 5-15 lbs per 100 sq. ft. before planting.
Barn/Stall Dry Application :
For best results, clean area and apply 1 lb per 9 square feet. Use heavier on wet or urinated areas.
