5 Paden City Pottery Shell Krest Orange Poppy Appetizer Plates.
This is a set of 5 vintage 6 1/2" appetizer plates from Paden City Pottery which was located in West Virginia from 1914 to 1963.  This pattern was introduced in 1937 and these plates have some overall crazing which is typical in pottery from that era.  Two of the plates have some minor wear on the floral decals.  The backstamps vary with some having the
traditional "kiln & ribbon" and others the "Shell Krest" emblem.  Perfect for appetizers or dessert.
