A high performance shortboard channel bottom:
Outline:
A total performance outline, with just the right amount of groveler in it. Looking to punt huge airs, throw a heavy slash off the top of a closeout, wrapping round houses, hunting morning barrels at your favorite beach break, this board does it all.
Rocker:
A generous amount of nose rocker, tail kick, with a mid-section flat spot for speed, tracking, and drive.
Rails:
Hard performance rails in the back 1/2 of the board, which gradually softens/rounds out as you approach the nose, for a more classic and traditional feel and ride. Also helps with not catching your rails in critical situations.
Channels:
A ¼” channel down the center of the board, going from the tail to the midpoint of the board, or just above it. Designed for drive, hold, and stability. The acute 90 degree edge of the channels also allows a torsion flex, and linear strength barrier (strength, flex, hold).
Carbon Fiber:
Reinforced with a 3” Carbon Fiber strip down the deck, bottom, and rails in the tail for strength, aesthetics, and flexing regions of the board.
