Ammonium sulfate 9.5 lb.
The typical NPKS analysis of Ammonium sulfate is 21-0-0-24.
Personally, I think ammonium sulfate is one of the most under-appreciated fertilizers we have.
It is a terrific source of that most basic component of protein, nitrogen, but also supplies sulfur for those essential amino acids that aren't built upon nitrogen, primarily methionine. Furthermore, it's reaction with water in the soil will lower pH and is of great benefit where soil might be too alkaline.
There are no guidelines for using ammonium sulfate, but like other high-nitrogen amendments, it should be incorporated or watered into the soil as the nitrogen will tend to evaporate when exposed to air AND too much in the wrong place at the wrong time can cause a nitrogen "burn".
