I bought this to save on luggage cost for trips. Tried on my local break. Pumps up real fast. Incredibly stiff. The fins hold surprisingly well and managed a couple rather steep drops, even though it has zero rails it competes and compares well with a wavestorm, the fins hold better as they seem stiffer. The board is clearly heavier than normal surfboard but not too bad. Be aware if using for beginners that it is hard and heavy but has no sharp edges other than the fins. It could do with a little more nose rocker, so you need to angle it well on steeper drops and you will get spray in your face when paddling or you need to lie further back. The pump gauge ends at 19 PSI and the needle won't move further so you need to guess how much more to pump to achieve 20.
Great surfboard for travel and surf instruction

I've been surfing for more than 20 years and have owner inflatable SUPs since 2009. The Body Glove EZ 8'2" appears to be made with the same high quality manufacturing processes as some of the best inflatable SUPs (C4, Ten Toes). It is obviously not a high performance longboard but it does fill a niche in anyone's quiver. It comes with a nice backpack type bag and pretty good leash. Everything fits in the bag and there is plenty of room for your surf trucks and towel. Besides travel, I will use my EZ-8'2" to teach friends and family how to surf. It's pretty stable so if you fall on it, or get hit by it, the inflatable board and rubber fins won't hurt. It's also nearly impossible to pearl (common beginner wipeout when the nose submerges on takeoff) on an inflatable surfboard because of the slight flex. great beginner board

Fun, I flew this to AU for our vacation with family members there. Easy to inflate and it floated me nicely. I surfed back in the days that longboards were the only boards so its length was fine. heavy enough to not be blown out of waves, light enough to carry inflated from home to beach. firm as a regular board. I found it a bid wide, making it easy to paddle. After a week of use, we rolled it up, put it in the backpack bag it came with along with the pump that came with it...and it was ready to be checked as regular luggage on United. I guess what was nice is its ability to travel, to store and to ride...but you won't be seeing it used at any surfing competition--it is just for some family members to have fun on...

I was surprised at how well this board worked. It's awesome for catching waves and it floats super well. It's a little heavy and hard to carry around once it's inflated, but since it rolls up, it's very portable and surprisingly sturdy. It just requires a little extra work to pump it up and deflate it. One thing I don't like is that it comes with instructions that are meant for the stand up paddle boards, so there's a decent amount of guesswork involved--the PSI for inflating is different, no instructions on how to roll it back up. But I really like this board and had a great session with it. It's very easy to store and I don't have to worry about it falling off my car when I take it to the beach.
A very good board for beginners

This is an awesome board for beginners. It's so easy to catch a wave with this board as it's so buoyant and stable. It's also super easy to maneuver vs a regular board. I was flying around when paddling, maybe because this board was so light. Can't say that I could do that with a regular board. Super easy to pump up and put away when done. You get a backpack to store everything in and then you can just throw it in your trunk. No need for a rack or anything.

Easy to transport and use. Inflates just like a inflatable SUP. Easy to paddle ( while lying on) and easy to surf. Both my daughter and I were able to get up on the board

Over the years I have had every kind of surfboard but definitely not an inflatable surfboard. The concept is so clever and innovative that I had to get one and try it out. The reality is that it is better than expected. For starters it comes with a back pack and a leash and everything is quality, and it literally unrolls right out of the bag and inflates in about a minute with an included pump. No surfboard to surfboard in 1 minute. Once inflate it is light weight and really tough feeling. Light weight and tough don’t usually go together in the surfing world but it does with this board. On the water the board prone paddles really fast and I found myself catching waves out much further. It also is really easy to surf. It is slightly wider than the other boards I have and it seemed to make it much easier to ride. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fun board, that is durable, and want to travel, or loan to a friend, or push kids into wave. This board can really do it all.
