The etching is fabulous
.  The relish is free of scratching or use damage.  The handle has been carefully checked and has been found to be damage free.

Elaine is  beautiful pattern that can best be identified by the squiggly almost S shaped vines that run down from the top of pieces.  This scroll pattern alternates with another vine that is lush with foliage and flowers.  Elaine is seldom seen in any color. When colored pieces are found they are  usually amber or pink. Other colors listed above are rarely found.  Elaine had a long production period.  Many people preferred Elaine over the busier patterns like Rose Point, or Wildflower. Another reason for Elaine's popularity was the large number of pieces available. There were multiple stemware lines so a bride had quite a few shapes to choose from.
