**Condition is Pre-owned but good for Vintage age,  has one small area to bottom right side of watercolor that appears to have had some moisture at one time. The back side of the frame at the top has a small tear.
Much of Armstrongs work is on Display in Museums across the country representing Native American Artistry. His Native heritage has been listed as Cheyenne, Caddo, Southern Arapahoe and others. He lived many years in Clinton Oklahoma, dying there as well in 2010 it would make sense his affiliation with the Arapahoe Tribes. Most of my family was born and still lives in that area.
This gorgeous piece and many more were acquired by my aunt when she purchased a home in 2008 in Clinton Oklahoma ( where Gopher lived for many years and passed away in 2010)  inside the home these were left behind by the previous owner who was close friends with Gopher ( my aunt was also a friend of Gopher's ) My aunt has owned these for many years and has asked me to sell them for her so we will be listing many more of them.
