Shipping And Insurance with USPS Priority Mail. Up for auction is a VINTAGE GORGEOUS ELEGANT PADEN CITY 3-FOOTED 12 INCH #221 MAYA HAND CUT BOWL EXCELLENT  CONDITION. This crystal glass comes from a "bye-gone" era when American manufacturing was an "art", as can be seen from the gorgeously designed Maya #221 Pattern in the photographs. This Maya #221 Pattern was made famous by the famous Paden
City Glass Co. from the 1930's to 1951, making it somewhere between 69-90 years old.  I only wish I had more, because the crystal bowl is so gorgeous, especially with the hand cut edging on its rim. When used on a set dining room table for entertainment, this bowl must have look really
graceful on the table. It measures about 4 1/2 inches high, with about 12 inch top flared opening, and sit on 3 gorgeously sculptured toes (old fashioned term for feet), as can be seen in the photographs. It is absolutely beautiful, and was purchased from an old estate sale on Long Island. Although it was pre-owned, it is in very good condition, as seen in the photographs. I found it sitting on a shelf inside a closed dining room cabinet, where it sat for all these many years.  It has the usual scratches on the inside of the bowl which is commensurate with a bowl of this age. However, there are almost no scratches on the bottom feet, where they would be expected to be found. The children who conducted this estate sale told me that their parents had received this bowl as a wedding present, and didn't use it too much, so, besides the scratches, there is absolutely no staining or cloudiness of any kind on its inside bottom. I have been collecting unusual vintage objects for many years, and always try to describe the items as best as I can. I don't see any other chips, fleabites, cracks, scratches, stains, cloudiness, or repairs anywhere on this crystal bowl, except those already mentioned. It comes from a smoke-free home. I only accept PayPal, and never charge extra for packaging and handling. Shipping with Insurance by USPS Priority Mail costs .85. Payment is expected within 3 days, after which I will immediately ship out the crystal bowl out as soon as payment is verified by eBay.
