General Information
Alga K18 is a brown seaweed based nutrition supplement, which can provide potassium for plant growth and plant resistance to abiotic stress, when applied to the foliage or soil. For soil application, the organic matter in Alga K18 provides food for microbes. It is a 100% water soluble powder that can be applied to plant foliage, soil and soilless media. Rates of application may need to be adjusted based on the potassium supplied and stress periods.
Directions for use
Although Alga K18 is totally water soluble, agitation with water is required to achieve and retain a homogeneous solution.  Depending on the water supply and the addition of other materials the pH may need to be adjusted to conform to local application methods and crop tolerance. Alga K18 can be combined with most plant nutrients but a compatibility test is required prior to tank mixing and application.  Applications are recommended at least one week prior to stress.  Application times are recommended for early morning or evening.  Application rates will vary.
Compatibility
Alga K18 is compatible with most fertilizers and some pesticides. Not all pesticides are compatible with organic matter.  Applications with pesticides must be according to pesticide manufacturers recommendations. When used for the first time with other products a jar test is required to ensure compatibility.
Storage and Handling
Do not expose to direct sunlight, extreme heat or cold.  Do not expose to high humidity.  Once opened containers must be tightly sealed. Spills on solid surfaces may become slippery so precautions should be taken to reduce potential injury.
