Leedy Indianapolis Trap Drum Case Fiber Telescoping Drum Case

Vintage Leedy Indianapolis trap or drum case.
2 piece, fiber case with INSIDE measurements of 17” x 17” x 6”.
The telescoping lid design means that the lid and tray are each 6” deep, so one could probably maximize internal content to about 11” depth. Inside the case lid a portion of the Leedy Indianapolis label is still present - though the Indianapolis part is tricky to read. The front face of the lid has the initials “RA” painted on - I’m guessing probably initials of the original owner. The case itself while well used, is still structurally sound, and only needs a new belt to be ready for use - original belt is gone, just bits of leather remain where the strap was riveted to the bottom piece. The handle’s leather covering is long gone, but the steel handle structure is intact and functional.
This case was part a collection of mostly Leedy early traps hardware, dating from pre-1925, Indianapolis era. I've tried to give fair representation with the pictures.
