    Directions:
Instructions: Directions for Use: Apply once in early Spring and once in mid-Fall when the ground is soft and moist. If the ground is dry, wet before driving spikes. Apply only as directed. Place enclosed plastic cap on top of spike. Drive spike into the ground around tree or shrub following the drip line as illustrated. Spikes should at least be 3 feet fall apart. For small trees and shrubs with drip line closer than 2 feet, insert spikes 2 feet away from center and save for future use. Continue to drive spike 2 inches below the soil surface. How many should I use? Use the diameter of the drip line of the tree or shrub as a guide to determine the number of spikes needed per plant. Drip Line Diameter: 4 Feet: 1 spike. 6 Feet: 3 spikes. 8 Feet: 5 spikes. 10 Feet: 7 spikes. 12 Feet: 10 spikes. 15 Feet: 16 spikes. Store unused spikes in a dry place, ideally in a sealed plastic bag. Keep original bag for future reference.
