Lovely Vintage 1951 American Rose PADEN CITY POTTERY China Set
Beautiful And Unusual ROUNDED SQUARE Shape To All Pieces
Bid is for 12 pieces-
4 Soup Bowls Approx 8"Across
4 Bread and Butter Plates Approx 6.25"Across
3 Small Dessert Bowls/Saucers Approx 5.5"Across
1 Handled Gravy Boat Approx 3"Tall and 7.25" Long spout to handle, top opening 4.75"Wide
All pieces have gold trim and are a cream colored pottery with blooming roses on each side. The roses are mainly shades of pinks but the petals have some light yellow coloration on the pink- extremely lovely.
Some Marked K51 and Some Marked J51.
Very Good Condition
No chips, nicks, cracks, fading, crazing to glaze, or repairs EXCEPT for ONE of the small dessert bowls has a TINY nick on the UNDERSIDE of the rim. This nick is not visible from the front, and does NOT mark the gold trim. Very minor.
Shipping cost reflects that these are HEAVY and very solidly made
