Paden City Pottery PCP91 Bread and Butter Plate Floral Center Gilt Edge.  Pre-owned in good condition.  Paden City Pottery was in business from 1914 to 1963 in Paden City, West Virginia.  This lovely plate features flowers in a clay colored basket in the center and has delicate lacey gilt edges and is 6 3/8" in diameter.  I do not know the pattern's name, however, it is consistent with the patterns the company produced in the 1940s in the "American" shape.  The backstamp is clear and states, "The Paden City Pottery Made in the USA E-53" in black.  Also stamped, in gold, is "Warranted 22 K-Gold".  The creamy surface is clear of crazing and cracks, however, there is a small chip on the front on the rim at the 2:00 position, see last photo in the gallery.
