    Hand written on the back of art is:
    This is a Navajo Indian sandpainting of the Half Red Man or Fringed Mouth. Made during the eight days and nine nights curative ceremony called “The Night” chant.
    His headdress consists of red horse hair with eagle plumes. A black basket with 10 red flicker bird tails surround the head. Lightnings design the body, arms, and legs.
    He carries a feather decorated bow and a white gourd rattle. Arms streamers and sash are of the rainbows. The feet are of the black feet.
    This painting is all hand done, out of pulverized natural colored sandstones, silicon, and magnetic sand.
    To clean douse with running cold water and stand to drip dry.
