Starkle G is a systemic insecticide both through the roots and leaves, manufactured by Mitsui in Japan. It kills a variety of insects, particularly sap-sucking insects such as aphids, leafhoppers, psyllids, whiteflies, etc. It also kills insects which have developed resistance to other insecticides including pyrethroids, carbamates and organophosphates. Starkle G has very low toxicity to humans and animals, is safe for bids and fish, and is harmless to the environment. A single application of Starkle G will last for 30 days. Just a teaspoonful per average size garden or potted plant is all you need to put in the planting hole before settling the plant on top. Re-application is by sprinkling on the soil surface and watering in.
Because this insecticide is systemic, there is no spray that can drift in the air to harm beneficial insects.
