Repair of bodyboards, soft surfboards and swim fins. Incredibly strong and tough. Repairs many materials except styrofoam (EPS).
Sponge-Rez is a tough, clear, ultra-flexible resin designed to repair the most common types of bodyboard damage. worn leash plugs, compressed floors, delaminated decks, holes or scratches, rash deck, foam deck of soft surfboards. Sponge-Rez can be used with Allen types of materials such as Ethafoam, Surlyn, eva , Vinyl, and Arcel, but it will melt styrofoam (EPS).
Sponge-Rez also repairs cracked, weathered swim fins.
General instructions:
- The surface must be clean, dry and free from dirt and / or wax.
- Use in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors. DO NOT intentionally inhale fumes - don't be stupid.
- Apply generously on porous substrates. Use a spreader to push Sponge-Rez into the damaged part of the board. Do not apply Sponge-Rez with your fingers.
- Sponge-Rez "skin" in approx. 10-15 minutes. and feel dry in approx. 2 hours, but it takes 24 hours to fully cure - especially when filling deep furrows.
