    Description

    Up for bid in this auction is a lovely Ideal doll from the 1950s, Harriet Hubbard Ayer, named for the American cosmetics entrepreneur and journalist of the second half of the 19th century,  She's 14" tall with blonde hair (which photographed red?) in the original set,  Fully lashed eyes and bright facial features.  Her outfit is in wonderful crisp condition, all original down to her Ideal signed shoes.  She has a light bluish mark on her forehead probably from being packed away with something of that color.  This does not detract from her appearance.
