Vintage 60's Sonor Tear Drop Parts/Hand Crafted Snare 6.5X14

Description

Up for auction is a Hand Crafted 6.5 X 14 snare. Snare is fitted with 20 Vintage Sonor Tear-Drop era lugs and all work as  designed please note 2 of the brass lug mounting nuts are after market, one original Vintage  Sonor 60's single era badge and one Sonor Vintage twin pad tone control and both felt pads are after market and work well. Both snare side and batter side Die - Cast Rims are Sonor - 10 hole new straight out of the box. Snare also fitted with Sonor Dual - Glide both Strainer and Butt assemblies also new straight out of the box. All 20 tension rods are new after market and both snare side and batter side Heads are new straight out of the box and both have the Sonor logo decals. Shell is a Hand Crafted 6 - Ply with an inner European - Beech 1/42 ply, Maple center plies and outside wrap is a Wood AAA grade 1/42 Rosewood Veneer finished in 14 coats of a Gloss Premium Clear lacquer. Shell is also fitted with Vintage Solid Steam-Bent Hard Maple re-Rings and outside edges are a slight 45 and inside edges are also 45 tapered to the center with a full round over profile. All parts were cleaned, inspected and work as they should and  please look at all pictures carefully prior to bidding being this is a no return auction.
