HERE WE HAVE:
A vintage "Kissy" doll by Ideal Toys in the USA! The copyright date is 1961 on the box. Comes in original box with an instruction sheet and a participating retailer sheet. Doll's lips move as her arms/hands are pressed together so it looks like she's kissing? Eyes close when she lays down. She's wearing a blue and white striped dress with a "Kissy" sash hanging off of it. Shoes are little, white flats with bows.
CONDITION:
Acceptable, played with condition! Her eyes open and close correctly. Her mouth does pucker when you move her arms, but there's a sort of creaking noise that I don't know if is by design or not? Her dress and hair bow are dirty (particularly the apron over her dress which is pretty yellowed). I imagine someone who knows how to care for doll clothes properly could get them looking nice! Hair is pretty matted! Some scuffs and discoloration spots on skin. Box has some discoloration, staining, and edge wear. Instruction sheets are very fragile and were either eaten by something at some point or just disintegrated at the edges.
