Vtg FOUR PANEL DISPLAY SERVING BOWL Cambridge Rose Point SCALLOP GOLD TRIM 11.5"

Description

Here is a piece of Cambridge Rose Point glass: Four-paneled bowl with wide scallop edges; some of the flowers have gold trim and the scallop edge has gold trim. Measures 11.5 inches across and 5 inches tall. Suitable for serving food in a sizeable amount, for use as a large candy dish, or for potpourri, etc. Obtained from an estate that was left sitting untouched for the last 20 years.
This is a used, pre-owned item. It has no chips or cracks. The gold on the floral pattern is inconsistent - has slowly deteriorated over the years? The gold trim on the scallop edge is missing in many spots (photo #5 example). There are minor use/handling scratches throughout the bowl (see photos #4, #5, and #6 for example.) This item is not perfect, but is still beautiful and has much life left to it.
